Details from a Sparkling, Inspired Event... Or... Wine + Nuts + Great Music = Fun for Friends and Family

Check out the details and photos from our latest sparkly event! Here's an example of how the theme of a party can be set with the invitations, and carried through in each and every detail. Sparkle and Ink designed this 60th surprise party with an emphasis on fun, family, and friends while honoring the man of the evening by highlighting his interests and passion for entertaining.

The elegant, classy, tone of the evening set when guests received the invitation, inspired by the guest of honor's signature suit...
The navy, and gold colors were carried through the rest of the party on menus, gift bag labels, in floral arrangements, table numbers, escort cards and place cards.

Guests were welcomed by escort cards featuring gold embossed table numbers and names inscribed on gold silk paper.

The man of the evening, prefers to burn only birch wood in his home. Ivan from Scotts Flowers NYC, came up with the idea of lining the centerpieces and 2 large decorative floral arrangements with birch bark. Birch pillars were also chosen as accents throughout the room.

The table numbers carried the birch theme as well.. numbers were carved out of birch. Mounted on navy linen paper, with gold embossed accents.

The guest of honor, is also a wine connoisseur. During the cocktail hour, favorite wines were chosen to feature. Later, when guests arrived at their tables, they were greeted by place cards with gold embossed details, seated in wine corks. The napkins folds were designed by Courtney Lynch to showcase the guest of honor's name on menus tucked neatly inside.

A small gift, awaiting guests on the table... bags of wine dipped, seasoned nuts from Dipping the Vine with custom labels designed by Sparkle and Ink to reflect the navy and gold theme.

Throughout the evening, beginning with a solo pianist during cocktail hour, and swelling into a full band performance, 45 Riots provided incredible musical entertainment that kept the guests dancing and partying all night.

And, last, but certainly not least... Gourmet, Gourmet, Patisserie, pastry chef Elicia created a breathtaking cake, designed to look like a wine cask, filled with the birthday gentleman's 3 favorite wines. Can you tell from the picture, which is the real cask, and which is the cake? It was truly a work of art, and delicious as well!

This event was fantastic to pull together... a great collaboration of talented, creative minds. It's even fun to look back at the pictures!

Sparkle On!
